Wesley Moody, Inc. is a family-owned and operated landscaping business in the Adirondacks.  Founders, Wesley Moody and Deborah Dupree have been in the landscaping business together for over 40 years.

The Moody Family is deep rooted in the Adirondacks; Jacob Moody, Wes’ great-great grandfather was one of the first settlers in Saranac Lake. Deborah is a transplant from Queens, NY who found her way to Paul Smith’s College and never left the area.

Their son Patrick Dupree grew up in the family business.  After graduating from the University of Miami in Miami, Florida; Patrick realized that the Adirondacks were home and became an integral part of the business.  With Wesley’s retirement Patrick is now co-owner of Wesley Moody, Inc. with Deborah.  Patrick is involved in all aspects of the business, but his specialty is creative stonework.  Although retired, Wesley still makes appearances on job sites.

Wesley Moody, Inc. owes much of their success to their longtime employees. Jess and Sammy head up the planting crews.  Along with their artistic eyes, they are knowledgeable of hardy plant species and natives.  They can do it all from foundation plantings to rock gardens or native restoration projects.  Stone masons “Coot”, Zach and their apprentice Colden build walkways and patios using individually selected stone.  David also has forty years of landscaping experience and has been a part of the Moody family for almost half that time.  David runs crews in all facets of the business.

Another asset of their successful business is their fleet of state-of-the-art equipment.  All of their equipment is environmentally friendly allowing them to work in wooded areas with minimal impact to existing plant life.
